If Universal Studios Islands of Adventure Wizarding World of Harry Potter is on your list of places to visit during your vacation, you might want to pack some pre-printed address labels.  The wand shop sells Harry Potter themed post cards and Harry Potter themed United States postage stamps.  However, the stamps are about $1.50 each, sold in packages of ten, and they are worth only 44 cents each in US postage.  Currently, the Harry Potter post cards are only a dollar plus tax; they cost less than the Harry Potter postage stamps!  For no additional charge, however, you may have the Harry Potter post cards stamped with a special ink stamp by a cast member who stands just outside this shop.  The cast member has separate ink stamp for Harry Potter journals too.

Many local Florida residents have a tradition of driving to Christmas Florida and mailing their holiday greeting cards, or post cards, from the tiny post office on the South side of Highway 50.  This post office has a special ink stamp there too!

At this time, most United States post offices have Disney Pixar stamps for only 44 cents, and you may purchase them in any quantity.  If you would like to help support a good cause, you may choose breast cancer research stamps for a slight additional cost.

If you are planning to visit the historic Kennedy Space Center after your trip to Universal, you might want to plan your route to include the Christmas post office and you can have both ink stamps on your Harry Potter post cards!

You don’t need to pack holiday greeting cards, if you are able to shop outside the theme parks. Just pack the sheets of self-stick address labels that you have printed with your computer and an equal number of return address labels.

Remember to send yourself a post card!  It is an inexpensive addition to a scrap book, or can be framed and hung on your home or office wall!  Also, this can be a unique treasure for the philately (stamp collecting) enthusiast on your gift list.

Florida Fun Times Update:  Domestic First Class letter postage is now 45 cents.  International postage for a letter is now one dollar and five cents.
