Kids can eat for about a dollar and a quarter including tax and tip on Monday and Tuesday evenings at Azteca Mexican Restaurant. The children’s meal includes a beverage.
Happy hour varies according to the day of the week, but in general is between 3:00 and 6:30 PM. On weekends, a mariachi band provides entertainment. The menu is extensive and the portions are so generous that I always walk out with a doggie bag.
It is a popular restaurant with Orlando and Kissimmee local residents, and parking is free but usually crowded. During rainy weather, you may drop your party at the door and find parking in the shopping center behind the restaurant.
From the Florida Mall head South, towards Kissimmee, on Orange Blossom Trail. Azteca is on the East side of the street, on your left hand side, in a shopping center that has a Ross Department store. If you are heading from the Greenway, 417, head North towards the Florida Mall. Azteca will then be on your right hand side.
